Joseph Prince: God wants you to reign. Christ is our redemption. God is righteous in making the sinner righteous. Announcer: Coming up on Destined to Reign. Joseph Prince: Things that are made are the things that are being shaken right now. All over the earth are the things that are manmade being shaken. Now, that doesn’t mean that these things that are manmade they are evil things or immoral things. It just means they are manmade. If they are manmade God doesn’t want you to build your life on it. God wants you to build your life on things that are permanent that will last for eternity.
What I want to share is all about the shaking that is happening all over the world. There is a shaking going on all over the earth. And this time, this shaking, listen carefully, is not something that the devil is doing but God Himself is doing. And it’s for a good reason. It’s for a very good reason. You’ll be blessed when you hear it. Are you ready?
Alright. Hebrews Chapter 12:25. See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from Heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He (the God) has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.”
So, who is doing the shaking? God is doing the shaking. And notice that He shook not only the earth but also heaven. That is taken from the Old Testament. That quotation is from Haggai Chapter 2. And later on, we look at Haggai.
But in Hebrew the New Testament, Paul quotes, and I believe Paul is the author, Paul quotes Haggai saying that God says in the future, which is our time, God will not only shake the earth but also heaven. Amen. Now, this heaven is not the heaven where God is. There are 3 heavens. One is this heaven you see around you where you see a plane and you fly; that is the heavens above us. Then there’s another atmospheric heaven where the Bible tells us that’s where Satan dwells. The Bible tells us about the Prince of the Power of the Air.
The Bible tells us about spiritual wickedness in high places, in heavenly places. That is where the devil is lodging. That’s where some countries, you go to some places, you walk in, you feel an oppression. You get headaches very easily. You find that there is something very oppressive about that place. If you do not understand what is going on, it’s something spiritual and something in the heavenliest.
Okay. And then there’s a third heaven where God dwells. Amen. And there’s no evil spirit there. Praise God. So when God says I shake not only the earth, alright, but in the days coming I will shake also the heaven. God is shaking all of the evil spirits out of their strongholds. Are you listening? God is shaking them out of the place. Can I get a good Amen?
So we have deciphered who is the one doing the shaking is God. But what is the purpose of this shaking? Next verse. Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. What is the reason for the shaking? It’s to shake things that are, say it, made or manmade. When something is made by man, it is subject to the shaking. It is made by man. It has elements of failure all throughout. There are faulty cracks throughout the whole thing. Manmade is subject to the shaking. But God’s purpose is that this shaking is to shake things that are made so that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. How many wonder if the unshakable things of God are made in your life? How many want to make sure that your marriage is on an unshakable foundation? Your finances, your family life, your work with God. Everything is on unshakable ground.
So, the purpose of this shaking is good. It is for you to build your life on things that cannot be shaken. Or else what’s going to happen is like what happened in a Sichuan province not so long ago when a major earthquake hit. Many buildings collapsed and very sad. One particular school building collapsed on children and they died. But the sadder thing is this, they found out that there were other buildings standing strong in the earthquake. And obviously it wasn’t the earthquake that brought the buildings down. It was faulty. The building was not on solid ground. It was faulty in the way they made it all that, the way they built it. Doesn’t it behoove us then to make sure that our lives, our financial lives, our family life, our spiritual life, everything, is on unshakable foundation? Amen. Amen, Church.
Things that are made are the things that are being shaken right now. All over the earth are the things that are manmade being shaken. Now, that doesn’t mean that these things that are manmade they are evil things or immoral things. It just means they are manmade. If they are manmade God doesn’t want you to build your life on it. God wants you to build your life on things that are permanent that will last for eternity.
Let me ask you a question, a very simple question. Alright. And it proves a point that it doesn’t mean that because something is manmade it is immoral. The stock market; is it manmade or God-made? You’re not sure. In heaven there’s no stock market, okay. The stock market; is it manmade or God-made? Manmade. Therefore it is subject to being shaken. What about tithing? Is tithing manmade or God-made? It’s obviously God-made because if manmade tithing it would be 90% for me 10% for you. There’s no senior partner that would ask for 10%. No senior partner. At the least, a senior partner – we will call God our senior partner – at the least, a senior partner would ask for 51%. No senior partner would ask for 10%. God is the only one that says I’ll be your senior partner and I’ll help you financially and all I’m asking is 10% to show you acknowledge my sponsorship. It definitely is not manmade. Amen.
We’ve got to build our lives on the things that cannot be shaken. Amen. Now I’m not saying this to get money out of you. We are doing quite well, as you have read recently. I’m sharing with you things that cannot be shaken. In fact, if you practice this, go somewhere else, bless that Church and go to that Church regularly, okay, and start tithing in that Church. But when you tithe, tithe unto the Lord and not unto the Church. Tithe the Lord and see what God will do for your finances. Amen.
Tithing and offering are unshakable because they are God-made not manmade. Are you listening Church? Alright. Our marriages for them to be unshakable have got to be built on Christ, solid rock. You cannot build your marriage on human psychology. You cannot build your marriage on human efforts. You cannot build your marriage on trying. Every marriage needs a third party and His name is Jesus. The super glue that brings couples together. Amen. If you start demanding from your spouse what only Jesus can give, you’re putting undo pressure on your relationship because we guys make lousy Gods. Even though you wives sometimes present to us burnt offering. Alright. We make lousy Gods. Amen. We are not good Gods. Amen.
It is not wise for a woman to make her happiness revolve around her husband. Amen. Make your happiness resolve around the Lord Jesus Christ. And the husband shall not demand from the wife kind of an esteem and security that he wants and the kind of respect that he wants that he should get from Jesus and his identity with Christ. And then when you are full you can turn around and then out of – administer to your spouse out of strength. And not out of depletion. The problem with relationships today is that both sides are running empty. It’s like a fuel gage, F and E. You’re running on E. And that’s when people do crazy things. Amen. And people get volatile; they get very temperamental and predictable because they’re running on empty. So the person try to draw from each other and the other person try to draw from the other person, this person; you’re just drawing from each other what you’re supposed to draw from the Lord. And that’s why we need Jesus to be the centerpiece of our marriage. Amen.
Everything that can be shaken is being shaken. Are you listening? So that we can build our marriages even on Christ, the solid rock. And all the people said Amen. Thank you Jesus. Don’t forget the reason for the shaking. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken – How many would like that the kingdom of God cannot be shaken? Amen. We are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken. Let us have, what? Let us have, what? Let us have grace. By that grace we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
How does one serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear? Only by grace. Only by grace. Let us have grace by which by that grace we can serve God with godly grace and reverence. But by the grace of God you can never serve God in a proper spirit of reverence. People don’t understand that grace teaches you to fear the Lord, in the right way. Not the slavish kind of fear. Are you listening? Not the fear of bondage but the true fear of the Lord. Halleluiah. It’s born out of grace. David said to the Lord, if thou Lord must mark iniquities, who can stand but there is forgiveness in you that you may be fear. Beautiful. Amen.
A revelation of the forgiveness of God produces in us a true fear of the Lord. And all of the people said Amen. You know in all of the last days, Isaiah prophesized about our days. Isaiah 60. It says, arise, shine; for your light has come! Turn to your neighbor and say, arise shine! If someone is sleeping just slap him and say, arise shine! For your light has come. And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you, for behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. Amen. This is not talking about the days of the millennium when Jesus arose on planet Earth. Because during the millennium there will be no dark spot on earth. It’s not talking about heaven because in heaven there is no night. This passage is talking about the times that we are living in, when darkness is covering the earth, deep darkness, deep depression. It’s covering the people of the earth. What will happen to us? God will rise upon us and His glory will be seen, seen visibly upon us. Oh, Halleluiah.
Right now we switch up all of the lights in our auditorium. Shall we? We’ll switch up all of the lights. You are sons of light. We switch up all of the lights and it is pitch darkness here. And somebody, let’s say somebody here, just struck a match. Everybody’s attention, even if it’s a brief light, will be visited upon that one person. Why? Because light is seen and it’s made prominent where there is darkness. You know, Church, when darkness is covering the earth, as it is now, and deep darkness is covering the people, as it is now, it’s time for the Church to shine. It’s time for people to see my goodness this is where the answer is seen all the time because your light doesn’t seem so prominent when there’s pseudo lights around. But the moment there’s darkness all around, your true light is seen. And what’s going to happen? How are people going to respond to the light? Next verse.
The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. The rising is going to come. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Verse 5: Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you. Now watch this. The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. There is a transfer of wealth taking place in these last days. The shaking is going to shake the world.
Let me stop for a moment. Everything you see is happening right now, people forget that we came from a few small groups of selfish, greedy, materialistic executives. We forget. It’s like a forest fire. It burns hectors and hectors of land; in the end, no one knows how it started. It could have been a small cigarette that someone just threw away. And no one knows how it happened. You know what’s happening in the economy, in this economy, the meltdown all began with a few selfish people. So I summon to you that this whole thing can be reversed. We are few Christ-centered, unselfish people who believe in God’s system of tithing and offering that cannot be shaken. Are you listening, people? And we can reverse the situation. Can I have a good Amen? Praise the Lord.
Now I’m going to show you something beautiful. Back to Hebrews again. Verse 28. I’ll show you the quotation once more. I shook the heaven and the earth. You know where that is taken from? Haggai. Haggai Chapter 2. Let’s go to Haggai Chapter 2. In the Old Testament, “For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations.” Are all nations being shaken right now? They say that they don’t even know what’s going to happen. Isn’t that amazing? All of a sudden all of the financial experts have no answer. You would have thought having lived in this world for so long, with so many advancements in information technology, our amazing travel at a speed that we are travelling at. With all of the advancement of technology, we still have no answer for disease, poverty, the same old problem that was here since the time of Adam, when Adam fell.
Do you know why? Because the answers are not found in manmade systems. It’s found in God’s system, but not shaken. Back to Haggai now. And I will shake all nations, and they – all of the nations- shall come to the Desire of All Nations. Capital ‘D.’ Who is the Desire of All Nations? Shout His name. If you don’t shout his name, the world won’t. Who is the Desire of All Nations?
Audience: Jesus.
Joseph Prince: Capital ‘D.’ He’s the Desire of All Nations. This shaking is good. So Haggai says, I’ll shake all nations. The prophet Haggai says, I’ll shake all nations, what is going to happen is all of the nations will come to Jesus, the Desire of All Nations. I’ll tell you something. It might not seem like it right now but more people are finding Jesus all over the world than you realize. More people. I’ve never seen so much hunger in where I teach. All denominations. Saying you’re charismatic, I’m charismatic, you’re crazy-matic, I’m automatic, I’m semi-automatic. No one is anything anymore; they’re all coming together in the same banner called Jesus Christ. Everyone wants to hear what Jesus did. Amen. We might disagree on a lot of things but we won’t disagree on Jesus. Our fellowship doesn’t revolve around doctrines; it revolves around Jesus Christ and his shed blood. If you believe He is the son of God, you are my brother, you are my sister. Can I have a good Amen? Regardless of whether you have a mustache or not, you are my brother if you believe in Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Jesus.
And watch this. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord. See, I told you it’s shaking. Shaking the silver and the gold into the house of the Lord. But God says this, remember when He comes in, the silver and the gold they are mine. Why must God say that? Because it will be in your pockets. It’s going to find its way into your life. Amen? Just don’t forget, God says, the silver and the gold. Israel forgot for one moment when God gave them favor – by the way that night when He spotted the Egyptians. He was actually getting back pay after years and years of slavery with no pay, it all came back in one night. It was actually all of their pay with interest. So when it came out, the gold and silver, alright, the devil tried to intercept and make them selfish with the gold and silver, and tried to impede the house of God. Just imagine how much gold and silver there was. They actually built a golden carafe. And still had gold and silver to build the tabernacle with plenty of gold furniture.
God is not against His people having money. Verse 8: The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine. And this is how this whole chapter ends, Verse 9: The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts. Do you know what the meaning is of this latter house shall be greater than the former? It means the end-time Church will be greater than the early Church. Do you know the early Church moved with such power the Bible says that even the shadow of Peter healed the sick? Even the handkerchiefs of Paul, the handkerchief which he dried his perspiration, when they came across bodies that were human possessed that evil spirits would scream leaving those people, and they would cure diseases. The Bible says the glory of the end-time Church is going to be greater. I would bring my handkerchief to Church; I want to wipe my perspiration and my front row can enjoy the blessings. Halleluiah. And where there is no hair, there shall be hair. More than enough. Amen. People will disappear and dissipate. Amen. Can you imagine; the glory of the later house is better than the former. Hallelujah. And this glory involves silver and gold, as well.
Now, silver and gold is not everything; it’s just a tool. Okay? There are many people who have plenty of money who are poor. Prosperity begins in the spirit and then the soul and then in the body. And then in the family. Last in money. If it is not from the inside out, it will never satisfy. If it’s from the outside in. Amen. We are in the end-times. Jesus is coming back. Don’t be afraid about what is happening in the world. You are not the world. Darkness covers the people. But the glory of the watcher rises upon you. You are the people of God. You will shine during this time. You will shine because the favor of God will come upon you.
And people are asking, how come you’re so lucky? They will come and tell you that. You are lucky. Or, lucky is the short-form of Lucifer. We are not lucky; we are blessed. Amen. If you say lucky, no one gets the glory. If you say blessed, someone has blessed you. And they will see you shine. In curious institutions that are not supposed to shine. But because you are there, you are shining. You are shining out. Shining makes you stand out. Amen. And you have no explanation. Things like, I am smarter than you and I know your qualification. But you are shining. They will ask you, why are you so lucky? That’s how they will come for the Desire of all Nations. Because you will tell them. Because you won’t be afraid. You will tell them. Jesus did this for me, and He can do the same for you.
I’m telling you, this is the Church’s finest hour. Where there are no answers out there, there are new strains of violence in the world today, there are crazy dictators in the world today, and the world is actually, when you think about it, a dangerous place. But praise God for Psalm 91. Thanks be to God for Christ the solid rock. Amen. I’ll tell you this. You know the Jewish people? Yesterday is their Synagogue day, all over the world, whether it’s Singapore synagogue, so whether it’s Asia, Europe. They all share, on every Saturday, they all share from the same passage of the Bible. It’s called the parashat, the scripture reading. And no one can actually read their own. They must read the same portion because they go systematically.
You know what my friend told me yesterday? He said, Pastor Prince, do you know it’s the parashat today? Yes, it’s Saturday. You go to the parashat today. Priest, tell me, would you like to see a close with this. Exodus 33. And the Lord said, “Here is the place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.” Who is the place by God? Like God’s right hand. God said, you will stand by me and you will stand on the rock. When everything is shifting sand, you will stand on the rock. Amen. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.
Look up here, Church. God says that He will put you in the cleft of the rock. The rock has been cleft. It’s been divided. You know why? The Cross. He died for us. He paid for our sins. He’s been cleft. And now there’s a place in this wounded site you can hide, in the secret place of the Most High.

The only one sitting on the white horse in the Book of Revelation is the King of Kings, it’s Jesus Christ. So he represents false doctrine. Alright, false doctrine. Long before bad things can happen to you or come into your life, there must be false doctrine. False teaching; false believing.
When you believe wrong, things become wrong. When the enemy comes against God’s people, this is what the enemy sees, alright? Man is our race. And the horses flee. If there is a Church where every Sunday when you come you hear the pastor lifting up Jesus, maybe one Sunday when you come he’s lifting up Jesus as the Ox, the one who never ceases to serve you. And another Sunday he lifts up Jesus as a man and how wonderfully balanced he is. And another Sunday he lifts up Jesus and lifts a banner of Jesus in heaven today as he is reliving this world. I’m telling you that Church is blessed.
Whenever you raise Jesus high, evil spirits flee. Like, God arise, and let all of his enemies be scattered. Amen.
